Pit Viper Poised to Strike

Me and Simon were sat in the hut picking off leeches and the like when we heard Luke shouting like a mental about a snake, so we ran outside thinking he'd been bitten (this in the middle of the Agumbe Jungle and miles from a hospital) and he's there with a bloody pit viper taking photo's like christmas came early, well after 5 seconds me and Si were doing the exact same thing. We got it on sticks, we put it on all sorts of places, so by the time this photo was taken, he was pretty pissed and had lunged at us a few times, mock lunges, but scary non the less.

Anyway I'm saying all this so you'll understand the danger that went into taking this shot from UNDERNEATH the pit viper.
